The School of Politics and International Relations wishes to appoint motivated Research Assistants to join the team led by Dr Jamie Gruffydd-Jones on his Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) project, Resistance to External Powers in the Developing World, which investigates the causes and consequences of resistance to foreign presence, with a particular focus on Chinas growing influence. As a Research Assistant, you can expect to be involved in: Creating, developing, cleaning and managing the database Assisting with analysis, interpretation, and visualisation of data in a reproducible way Assisting with the administrative support on the project, including coordination of events and activities What will you bring to the role?
