Role Summary Based at Autolus’ GMP warehouse in Stevenage, the IWarehouse Operator performs a range of activities that enable the storage and flow of goods/materials from third parties into the manufacturing center (including spraying/wiping of equipment) and the transfer out of finished products and waste into short term storage, to clinical sites and/or to third parties. The Warehouse Operator will perform these activities with a strong focus on HS&E, and in accordance with the requirements of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) regulations. Please note, this is a shift-based role working either Sunday to Wednesday/Wednesday to Saturday from 08AM - 545PM. Key Responsibilities • Receiving deliveries of materials, verifying that the correct merchandise has been received and maintaining accurate records. • Inputting of material information and data into a warehouse management system. • Performing and documenting incoming materials checks for any damage or discrepancies. • Maintaining accurate records of deliveries of all merchandise received and distributed. • Contacting suppliers or distributors to resolve any shipment or delivery issues. • Using forklifts, hand carts, or pallet jacks to load, unload, move, stack, and strategically arrange materials to maximise storage space within the warehouse. • Sampling of incoming materials for quality control testing. • Promptly processing distribution orders or requests, including retrieving specified materials from storage as well as packing, sealing, and labelling of materials accordingly. • Specialist cleaning of equipment and materials prior to their transfer into the environmentally controlled manufacturing areas. • Handling of temperature-sensitive materials operation of Cryogenic equipment • Performing activities in accordance with policies, procedures and licenses which comply with regulatory expectations, including adherence to chain of custody procedures. • Working to a high safety standard, in compliance with GMP and other regulatory standards. • Supporting the Warehouse Team leader, as required, in generating, reviewing and approving cGMP and safety documentation such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and COSHH assessments. • Other duties as assigned. Demonstrated skills and competencies E – Essential P – Preferred Experience & Skills • Experience gained in a transferable role gained in an Operations or other relevant industry setting (E) • Experience of working in a GMP pharmaceutical warehouse/inventory management environment (P) • Good attention to detail and ability to accurately follow SOPs (E) • Ability to read, write, and interpret technical information and specifications in English (E) • Flexible, self-motivated and focussed on team outcomes (E) • Meets physical requirements of the job, as follows: must have the ability to lift, bend, reach, stretch, climb ladders and work in tight spaces in order to complete job tasks (E) • Good knowledge and understanding of the GMP and HS&E regulations relevant to pharmaceutical warehousing (P) • Good informational technology skills including familiarity with ERP platform applications (P) • Commitment to high quality work (E) • Knowledge of handling temperature-sensitive products including receiving, storage, labelling and packaging (P) • Customer-centricity — Considers the impacts of all supply decisions on the customer, ensuring that any changes will improve and not impede customer service (P) Qualifications • GCSE Level or equivalent qualifications in English and Mathematics (E) • Fork-lift truck license (P) • Proficiency in MS Office Applications and Warehouse Management systems (P) LI-DNI
