Job Description
We are searching for a CMO (B2B) / Chief Marketing Officer to join a leading corporate services provider. Established 20 years ago, this organisation now comprises various specialised businesses and is recognised as the top provider in several fields. With a strong financial foundation, they are expanding into a new area and are on a robust trajectory to become the largest in their sector.
This is a brand-new position where you’ll be building the marketing function from the ground up, in a well-resourced organisation. There's a content team and SEO director in house. It's a hands-on role.
It’s a permanent full-time on-site position (4/5 days), based in their central London office (Zone 1). You will report directly to the CEO and play a crucial role in shaping and executing the comprehensive marketing strategy across all channels for all of the company’s brands.
Responsibilities
* Develop and manage brand and digital marketing activities across multiple websites and new brands, primarily targeting SMBs.
* Oversee all aspects of digital marketing, including PPC, SEO, email marketing, and social media.
* Lead and inspire a marketing team to achieve ambitious growth targets.
* Create compelling brand narratives and execute multi-channel marketing strategies.
* Manage external marketing agencies and ensure alignment with company objectives.
* Report on digital marketing performance and ROI to the CEO regularly.
* Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling products within the group.
* Ensure all marketing efforts adhere to brand guidelines and legal standards.
Qualifications
* Proven track record in B2B digital marketing, targeting SMBs.
* Experience in professional services marketing is a plus.
* Building a marketing team from scratch and working hands-on.
* Significant experience in performance marketing (SEO, PPC, CRO) and brand strategy.
* Results-driven mindset with a hands-on approach to marketing challenges.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
* Proficiency in CRM and CMS platforms, leveraging data to optimize marketing strategies.
* Familiarity with digital marketing channels, including paid search, social media, and email marketing.
* Knowledge of customer persona development is desirable.
