A Primary SEN Secondary School in Birmingham is looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to cover a long-term absence. It is a successful school with a long and proven track record of providing high-quality education for pupils with ASD. The school has strong leadership, gained a good in their last Ofsted and gives support and development to members of staff working in the school on a temporary basis.
Details of the role and school:
* The role is Monday to Friday and is term time only on a temporary basis.
* The post is to start in March 2025 and will run, in the first instance, up until Easter and possibly beyond.
* The person concerned will be working with a class of 12 Year 3 pupils, providing support to the pupils and working alongside other Teaching Assistants and the Class Teacher.
* The role will be supporting pupils with teaching and learning as well as with behaviour and social and emotional wellbeing.
* The person concerned will have recent experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant and have experience of working with children with Autism.
