Kitchen Assistant
This role would suit anybody that has experience as a Kitchen Assistant, Kitchen Porter, Chef.
Qualifications:
* Minimum Level 2 Food Hygiene/Food Safety
* Previous experience working in a busy kitchen
* Knowledge of allergens and dietary requirements
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children
* First Aid and CPR certification (preferred)
* Knowledge of relevant regulations and legislation governing childcare (e.g., Safeguarding)

Duties:
* Provide high-quality assistance to the Kitchen team in preparing nutritious meals for children aged 0-5
* Assist with in-room lunch service and food-based activities, ensuring they are stimulating and engaging
* Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
* Collaborate with other staff members to support children's individual needs
* Assist with ensuring the kitchen is clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times
* Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of all children and staff
