We are looking to recruit on behalf of our client, an experienced Purchase Ledger Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis.
This position requires a person who is detail oriented, has a strong work ethic, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Functions:
1. Prepare and maintain ledgers by entering data into the system.
2. Maintain Purchase and Sales Ledgers on the accounting system and ensure any issues are resolved in a timely manner.
3. Drive credit control activities, raise client invoices, and record receipts.
4. Code all invoices and expenses ensuring they are authorised according to the process, including credit card purchases.
5. Record receipts and maintain accurate records.
6. Perform administrative tasks including preparing, scanning and filing documentation.
7. Organise procurement activities, ensuring requests are authorised by the relevant heads of department and create purchase orders.
