Are you looking for a new challenge in Finance?
Our EU business is seeking to recruit a part time 12 month fixed term Accounts Receivable Administrator to join our team and work within the busy Finance department in Shropshire.
Your key responsibilities will include:
1. To actively chase outstanding debt, through calling, letter, and email chasing
2. Providing proactive support to the EU business, resolving queries through liaison with internal and external customers, and ensuring compliance with internal controls
3. To support the Accounts Receivable Supervisor in reviewing new customer accounts & general account maintenance thereafter (proactively identifying cash flow issues, where legal action or credit terms may need reviewing)
4. Provide appropriate cover for colleagues within the Finance team as and when required
Qualifications & Experience
1. An in depth knowledge of the Sales Ledger function gained through experience
2. General book-keeping and accounting experience with knowledge of VAT and Tax
3. Mathematics at GCSE Grade A-C or equivalent
4. Strong customer service and team player ethos, with the ability to work proactively
