Electrical Test Operator
You will play a vital role in certifying and testing advanced defence products, adhering to rigorous standards to meet mission-critical requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Certify and maintain product certifications in compliance with defence procedures and standards.
Set up and calibrate advanced test equipment to perform detailed tests on defence electronics.
Conduct fault-finding on defence-related electronic systems and maintain precise test records.
Meet strict manufacturing test times and ensure accurate documentation for defence projects.
Uphold the highest standards of safety, workmanship, and quality control in all processes.
Collaborate effectively within a team environment to deliver on high-stakes projects.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Apprenticeship or equivalent technical qualification (NVQ Level 3, ONC, etc.).
Experience with testing, fault-finding, and using test equipment for electronic systems in high-stakes environments.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities, particularly in defence or military-related fields.
Manual handling, lifting, and slinging training (including overhead cranes).
ESD awareness, no colour blindness, and an understanding of defence safety protocols.
Rate & Details:
Rate: £27.37 per hour (Umbrella)
Inside IR35
Duration: Initial 12 months
Clearance: SC Clearance required
