We are currently seeking enthusiastic SEN Support Staff to provide vital assistance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in schools across Liverpool and the surrounding areas.

Position:
As SEN Support Staff, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the learning and development of students with special educational needs.
Your responsibilities will involve collaborating closely with teachers and other support staff to foster an inclusive learning environment, delivering tailored support, and helping students overcome educational barriers.
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with SEN, adapting teaching methods to cater to their unique needs.
- Assist in the implementation of Individualised Education Plans (IEPs) and other support strategies.
- Support students in developing essential social, emotional, and academic skills.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere where all students feel valued and supported.
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to ensure effective and cohesive student support.
- Assist with classroom activities, including preparing materials and organising resources.
- Monitor and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to teachers and parents.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Previous experience working with students with SEN is preferred.
- Relevant qualifications or training in SEN support or education (e.g., Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant, SEN diploma) is advantageous.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- Commitment to supporting the educational and personal development of students with SEN.
