You'll be someone who is both comfortable working proactively and managing your own tasks, as well as confident collaborating with others and communicating regularly with senior managers, directors, and BDO's partners to help businesses effectively. You'll be encouraged to identify and draw attention to opportunities for enhancing our delivery and providing additional services to organisations we work with. In this role you'll: Work closely with project owners and leads to support with the delivery of Finance projects within the BDO Finance Project delivery framework. Track the delivery of project milestones and swiftly escalating any blockers when necessary. Support with ‘troubled' projects, ensuring they are brought back on track. Assist with creating Bi-weekly reports on the progress of the project portfolio. Provide Project Management support, planning, organising and driving the successful completion of projects. Lead and motivate the team and supporting to ensure financial efficiency. Work with project leads to gather requirements, identify risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, while maintaining regular communication with stakeholders to manage expectations. Track performance and follow the project delivery framework to keep projects on schedule. Ensure project documentation is maintained for transparency and future reference. Work closely with the Finance PMO Manager to develop reporting for upcoming communications from the Finance team, covering both project and BAU activities. Liaise with the Finance team to understand their communication needs and determine the best methods for delivering these messages. Assist the Finance team in creating effective communication strategies and plans to ensure their messages are clear and impactful. Collaborate with the Finance PMO Manager to engage with the central BDO PMO team. Create documentation to support with relevant updates, such as project developments and upcoming training to keep everyone informed and aligned. Work alongside the Finance PMO Manager to produce documentation that supports the IT requirements and resources needed for Finance projects. This involves ensuring that all necessary information is clearly outlined to facilitate smooth project execution and resource allocation. Ensure the project framework documentation is well ordered and templates are kept up to date. Provide cover for the PMO Manager when needed. This involves stepping in to manage actions required on live projects, ensuring continuity and smooth operation. Handle tasks and responsibilities to maintain progress and support the Finance team effectively during their absence. You'll be someone with: Intermediate/Advanced Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook, Planner & Look PRINCE2 Practitioner or equivalent Project Management experience Adept at managing multiple tasks whilst keeping track of own workload using a ‘to do list or similar. The ability to deal with competing requests in a confident and mature manner, weighing up urgency and deadlines to decide on priorities. Initiative to work out the best way to do things, referring to Insite and colleagues to identify efficient solutions. A flexible approach and adaptable. Discretion when handling confidential information. Confident with communication. Recognises that different people require different approaches and adjusts style appropriately.
