Our client, a leading business in the Technology sector, is seeking a 2nd Line Engineer to join them on a full-time, permanent basis.
Working closely with the Help Desk team, our client is looking for a 2nd Line Engineer to provide a high level of technical support to a broad range of clients.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, accustomed to working on both day-to-day support and project work for clients across various industries.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Working towards SLAs while supporting a broad range of clients with technical support calls.
2. Troubleshooting technical faults and issues.
3. Remote project work undertaken by the help desk.
4. Be the first point of contact for clients, outlining any technical faults or queries in a helpful and clear manner.
5. Be the go-to for 1st Line Engineers while escalating technical faults to 3rd Line Engineers.
6. Manage relationships with clients.
Key Experience:
1. A minimum of 2 years' experience in a 2nd Line Engineer role.
2. Previous MSP experience is advantageous, although not essential.
3. Confident working both remotely and on client sites.
4. Able to work on both project work and day-to-day support tasks.
5. Active Directory.
6. DNS / DHCP.
7. Understanding of Windows 10 and 11.
8. Hyper-V.
9. Good networking experience.
