Human Resources Assistant The Role We are seeking an ambitious and detail-oriented HR Assistant to join our small, purpose-driven HR team. This role offers a broad variety of responsibilities, from managing HR systems and supporting payroll to overseeing onboarding, offboarding, and benefits administration. You’ll have the opportunity to grow, own projects, and work in a fast-paced environment with an ambitious agenda for change. Key Responsibilities Act as the primary contact for the HRIS, managing employee records, responding to queries, and ensuring compliance with HR policies. Provide day-to-day HR support, including managing queries, maintaining records, assisting with recruitment, appraisals, training, family leave letters, inductions, and ad hoc projects. Assist with payroll processing, including documentation, tracking overtime, and ensuring accuracy in payroll data. Manage joiners and leavers processes, including drafting contracts, coordinating inductions and exit interviews, and ensuring compliance with HR policies. Support employee benefits administration, including enrolment, updating records, and assisting with initiatives to enhance employee experience. About You Experience in an HR administrative/coordinator role with a strong foundation in HR systems and processes. Proven ability to deliver excellent service, handling queries and resolving issues professionally. Attention to detail in compliance with HR policies and a passion for building a career in HR. Knowledge of payroll processing, data management, and experience in professional services (law firm experience is a plus). Collaborative team player with strong organizational skills
