The Role
Reporting to the Head of IT Operations this senior management role forms part of the Operations leadership team and is responsible for leading the testing services function, creating test strategies for all operational services, driving process improvement, and ensuring a robust approach to quality assurance is embedded in the culture of the organisation.
You will be responsible for strategically managing and developing all test strategies and approval processes that align with project and program requirements, methodologies (such as agile or waterfall), and all operational changes.
What we're looking for
You will have experience of developing, leading, coaching and building high performance multidisciplined test teams, and improving overall test effectiveness and quality output.
You will have proven experience of testing Web, Middleware, CRM and other business critical applications, and be a subject matter expert in Software Development Lifecycle and testing methodologies.
You will have proven expertise in a formal testing role, including some experience managing a test function.
With experience of planning, co-ordinating, and running testing activities for all mission critical services, you will have experience of delivering automated testing.
