Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team in Shrewsbury, United Kingdom. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients' daily lives, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being.
1. Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful social interactions
2. Assist with everyday tasks such as meal preparation and light housework
3. Accompany clients to appointments, shopping trips, or social events
4. Provide personal care support, including assistance with bathing and dressing,
5. Support clients with medication management as directed
6. Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in clients' conditions
7. Collaborate with other care team members to ensure consistent, high-quality care
8. Adhere to health and safety regulations and organisational policies
9. Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities

10. Guaranteed hours contracts
11. Pay rates from £12 - £13.50 per hour depending on time of day
12. Double Pay on all bank holidays
13. Minimum of 35p per mile
14. Paid travel time

Qualifications
21. Right to live and work in the UK and be 18 of age or older
22. Full driving licence and access to a fully insured car
23. Warm, empathetic nature with a genuine passion for making a positive difference in people's lives
24. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
25. Reliability, responsibility, and ability to work flexibly
26. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
27. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
28. Basic understanding of health and safety regulations in a care setting
29. Willingness to travel locally within the Shrewsbury area
30. Previous experience in care is valuable but not essential, as full training will be provided
31. Resilience and ability to remain calm under pressure
32. Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and dignity at all times
