Job Summary
We now have vacancies for full and part-time Band 2 Clerical Officers / Receptionists - Front and Back Office, to work at the Royal Oldham Hospital. These posts are secondments / fixed term for 12 months.
These posts are for the CDC at Salmonfields and involve working between 7.30am and 7.15pm, 7 days a week on a rolling rota, including lone working during weekends.
Main Duties of the Job
You will be responsible for creating 'mini' medical records for clinical use, including EDRMS Form Pack generation, undertaking reception duties, and supporting patients checking in for appointments across multiple reception desks at all Trust sites, including satellite clinics within the community. You will undertake the booking and scheduling of patient appointments and associated administrative duties.

Skills Essential
* Good level of numeracy and literacy
* Good keyboard and PC skills
* Ability to work to deadlines and prioritize own workload
Experience Essential
* Experience of working in a reception or administrative role, preferably in a healthcare environment with patient contact
* Previous experience of data entry/input
Qualifications Essential
* Education to GCSE level or equivalent, including Mathematics and English
* Computer skill qualification such as ECDL, CLAIT or equivalent
* Customer Service or Administration qualification such as an NVQ
Knowledge Essential
* Knowledge of a hospital-based Patient Administrative System
* Understanding of confidentiality, data protection, and Caldicott principles
