We are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Project Manager to join our growing team.

We are now looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join our team.
We will be considering both part-time and full-time applicants for this role, so please note your preference in hours (between 24 and 40 hours per week) on your application.
The role
You will work alongside our Project Managers to coordinate, manage, and control design activities on exciting multi-disciplinary development commissions from across the UK.
Depending on the level of experience that you bring, you will be responsible for and/or support with activities on a range of land delivery projects, incorporating the full suite of PJA consulting services.
Some of the key responsibilities will include:
* Assisting in the preparation of bid proposal documents;
* Assisting in the management of the project – both technically and financially, in accordance with Client requirements, corporate and business policies, directives, guidance and procedures; ensuring successful delivery to agreed targets;
* Facilitating communication, co-ordination and information control with the Client and within the project team, including any subcontractors and partners (internal and external);
* Preparing and coordinating the project delivery programme and delivery plans; providing project reports on a regular basis to convey cost and delivery information in a timely manner, as required internally or externally;
* Applying quality assurance and document control practises throughout project delivery;
* Advising the Project Director/Manager on the requirements for any necessary mitigation actions to prevent delivery targets being missed and managing effective change control processes;
* Supporting in the invoicing; comparing revenue with predicted costs and identifying issues and risks – at project set-up and ongoing thereafter;
* Being involved in closing out the project on completion, archiving project documentation, updating market information, ensuring that lessons learnt are captured and disseminated internally.
Skills and Experience
The applicant should be able to demonstrate that they are:
* Degree qualified, equivalent qualification and / or practical experience of working on design commissions for land delivery (residential and/or commercial) projects;
* A hard working and flexible individual with good attention to detail, a willingness to learn, reliable, proactive and shows initiative.
* Self-motivated and able to work both independently and within a larger multi-discipline team.
And have:
* Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
* Fluent in English; both verbally and written
* A high level of attention to detail and accuracy
* Excellent interpersonal skills, able to develop strong, professional relationships with colleagues
