Working as part of a cross-functional team, you will take ownership in creating new, ownable food and beverage concepts. You will manage these innovations from concept through to launch. You are responsible for developing the new menu launches across the entire menu from Core Menu to Limited Time Offers. You will manage and run the NPD stage gate process keeping all key stakeholders informed and consulted throughout. What you'll do: Be a guardian of Big Taste in all Innovation activities. DO NOT COMPROMISE ON TASTE Drive innovation through the business cross-functional project management of all new food and beverage launches Develop ownable product innovations that are truly Burger King Keep abreast of activity in other Burger King markets to discover market-suitable innovations Build relationships and collaborate with key suppliers conducting food safaris to contribute to the generation of on-trend food concepts Review competitor items and set a benchmark to beat within the category Write product innovation briefs that encompass the needs of the business and drive big taste in all project activity Assist with the running of King Council chef sessions in creative workshops Innovation process project recording Consumer research lead, CCT, Taste tests, Market tests prep and commissioning Innovation packaging lead working closely with the sustainability team Support the creation and delivery of the Innovation Pipeline plans Review and analyse campaign/ product performance, giving feedback on actionable insights to the team. Monitor and respond to customer comments and feedback Report on KPIs on new product launches and recommendations Develop a good relationship with RBI (brand owners) and collaborate with key innovation projects What you'll have: A passion for food and a good understanding of the market and trends Minimum 5 years of experience, in food development preferably in a QSR / food Proven track record of successful food/menu development launches Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate accurately and compellingly to a variety of audiences Positive outlook allowing you to provide solutions when faced with obstacles remaining calm and organised when under pressure, and prioritise whilst paying close attention to the details Comfortable working with numbers, metrics, spreadsheets and online analytics Able to manage multiple projects at any given time, with excellent attention to detail Self-starting and driven to achieve results, holding self and others to high execution standards We are a Disability Confident employer.
