We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll and Compensation Specialist to join our team at The Curve Group. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for all companies within the group.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Supporting the Group Payroll Manager in processing payroll for all companies, guaranteeing accuracy and timeliness.
* Collecting and processing overtime and other payroll data each month.
* Managing annual pay reviews and handling starters, leavers, and pro-rata payments.
* Performing payroll calculations, including statutory payments such as SMP, SPP, and SSP.
* Assisting with benefits payroll calculations, monthly reporting, and third-party payments.
* Responding to employee and auditor queries on payroll, expenses, and benefits.
* Managing employee benefit programs, assisting with queries, and promoting program understanding.
* Maintaining up-to-date employee records and supporting HR and Finance as needed.
To succeed in this position, you will require:
* Essential:
* • Prior experience in payroll administration with knowledge of UK payroll processes and legislation.
* • Strong numeracy skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
* • Effective time management and organizational skills.
* • A high level of discretion, confidentiality, and effective communication.
* Desirable:
* • CIPP or similar payroll certification is beneficial
This role offers a competitive salary range of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, along with a comprehensive benefits package including enhanced holiday entitlement, company sick pay, life insurance, and a cycle-to-work scheme.
The working hours for this position are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, totaling 40 hours per week.
