Job summary We have a fantastic opportunity for a skilled, passionate individual to join our amazing team at Kilton View, our Redcar and Cleveland day services. You will support individuals with complex learning disabilities and physical health problems. The role will also require cross cover as needed in our sister day service in Middlesbrough when required and our wider short term care services across Teesside. Candidates must have 18 months post qualifying experience including sign off of appropriate preceptorship or competency framework. Main duties of the job The team provide specialist care and treatment for adults with learning disabilities, providing hands on care, assessment of physical health and social needs alongside overseeing registered nurses and healthcare assistants. Due to the nature of the role it is essential that applicants are able to travel independently across the locality and have access to a suitable vehicle for business purposes. If necessary, adjustments can be considered in accordance with the Equality Act 2010. About us Our Respite, Day and Residential services work consistently to provide care and treatment to adults with learning disabilities although there is primary need for a clinical lead at Kilton View day service there will also be an need for the successful candidate to spend some time across other services which include Unit 2 and Aysgarth respite services, Day services at The Orchard and Thornaby Road residential service as required.
