Who You Are You are an experienced children's social worker with a minimum of three years post-qualification experience and have completed your ASYE. You possess excellent engagement and direct working skills with children and young people, specializing in Children in Care and Children Looked After. Your approach is methodical and organized, focusing on care and placement planning while minimizing risk to ensure long-term improved outcomes. Essential to this role, you are a car driver with access to a vehicle. You come prepared with a solid commitment to collaborative practice improvement and share a motivation to enhance outcomes for children and families. What the Job Involves The role involves joining the Liverpool Children's Services Permanence Teams at a pivotal time. You will be tasked with ensuring stable placements appropriate for individual needs, supported by a high-quality senior leadership team committed to making Liverpool a hub of excellent social work. The work environment is welcoming and supportive, with stable team and service manager groups offering regular reflective supervision. You'll engage in a hybrid working model with 3 days per week in Liverpool, and work a 35-hour week under a three-month minimum contract, earning up to £42 per hour depending on experience. Your role is supported by a comprehensive range of services, including a Family Group Conference Service, family support workers, and an extensive Early Help Offer.
