We’re looking for a Record to Report Analyst to join the Record to Report (R2R) team within our wider Co-op Business Services (CBS) organisation. CBS is made up of a number of diverse teams dedicated to delivering high-quality, reliable and cost-effective business services across our Co-op. You’ll play a key role in helping CBS to support and realise our group vision of ‘co-operating to build more value for member-owners everyday’.
As a Record to Report Analyst, we'll look to you to help resolve any potential issues by providing detailed analysis for associated billing, conditional contracts, banking, store tender and general ledger transactions and providing specialist knowledge and guidance to the wider R2R teams - supporting our successful transition to SAP.
What you'll do
1. Work with complex sets of data from multiple sources
2. Perform detailed analysis of associated billing, conditional contracts, banking, store tender and general ledger transactions
3. Manage the resolution of complex queries
4. Produce reporting as required
5. Support UAT test script writing and perform testing, reporting all issues through to resolution
6. Collaborate with key internal and external partners to make sure any required process changes are successfully adopted
This role would suit people who have
7. Experience working with SAP, general ledger, sales ledger and banking modules
8. Experience of balance sheet reconciliations
9. The ability to handle complex and large volumes of transactions
10. Strong IT, analytical and problem-solving skills
11. Good communication skills, with the ability to translate often complex and intricate language for a non-technical audience
