This is an exciting voluntary opportunity for the residents of Eastleigh, Southampton and surrounding areas to become a member of the Corporation or a co-opted member of one of the Corporation’s Committees. No experience is necessary but a genuine interest in contributing to the betterment of the local community and enabling young people to fulfil their potential is essential.

To apply, please go to to send in a brief CV along with a letter of interest, no more than 250 words in length. Your letter should state why you think you would be suitable for the role, any relevant experience and whether you have a specialism or particular interest.
There is no set deadline for applications and the process is administered by volunteers and we may therefore take up to 10 working days to get back to you. All applicants will be invited to visit and meet with our Chair of Governors, Principal, Clerk and an existing Governor as part of the recruitment process which may also involve a group exercise. No advance preparation will be required.

Interviews are not expected to be formal and are as much an opportunity for you to find out about us as for us to find out about you. You will have a chance to talk to an existing Governor, a member of the Senior Leadership Team and have a look around the College.
