Job Advert: Internals / Finishing Manager – Birmingham (Apartments) Job Title: Internals / Finishing Manager Location: Birmingham Contract Type: Freelance - 4 months Start Date: March 2025 Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Internals / Finishing Manager to oversee the internal fit-out and finishing of a high-quality apartment development in Birmingham. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing subcontractors, quality control, and ensuring the timely delivery of completed units to the highest standard. Key Responsibilities: Manage and oversee internal trades (drylining, carpentry, M&E, flooring, decoration, fire stopping, etc.). Drive the programme of works, ensuring units are completed on time and within budget. Conduct quality inspections and snagging to ensure high finishing standards. Work closely with the Site Manager and Project Team to ensure smooth project progression. Ensure all works comply with health & safety regulations and company policies. Hold progress meetings with subcontractors, ensuring clear communication and accountability. Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure project expectations are met. Requirements: Proven experience as an Internals / Finishing Manager on apartment / residential projects. Strong knowledge of finishing trades and quality control. Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and trade teams. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Proficient in snagging systems (e.g., SnagR, Fieldview, Site Audit Pro).
