Hybrid 80% homeworking available and 20% in Stratford-upon-Avon, or one of our Regional Offices About the roleWe are recruiting for a CS&A Technical Consultant to join our Customer Selections & Analytics Team. In this brand-new role, you will play a part in developing and delivering business-ready, consumable datasets that support self-service analytics and meet the needs of the Marketing team. Working closely with the Technical Lead, you will structure and refine complex datasets, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in customer selections. In this role, you will act as a subject matter expert, providing technical guidance, best practices, and peer reviews to enhance the team's SQL proficiency and overall analytical capabilities. You will also be responsible for maintaining and improving selection templates, scripts, and documentation while supporting the continuous development of customer selection processes and infrastructure. A key aspect of the role involves collaborating with stakeholders across Marketing & Digital and the Data Centre of Excellence to ensure data is effectively leveraged for campaign management and strategic decision-making. Additionally, you will support the delivery and implementation of the campaign management tool, oversee UAT processes, and proactively identify future data integration opportunities to enhance customer insights. This role requires a proactive, analytical mindset with a passion for data-driven decision-making, continuous improvement, and stakeholder collaboration to drive value from customer data.About youYou are a detail-oriented and analytical data professional with strong SQL expertise, capable of optimising complex datasets and improving customer selection processes. With a background in customer selections, evaluation, and analytics, you understand how to structure and refine data to drive business impact. Your excellent stakeholder engagement skills enable you to collaborate effectively across teams, providing guidance and insight to enhance self-service capabilities. You have strong critical thinking abilities, allowing you to solve problems efficiently and anticipate future data needs. You are highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a keen attention to detail. Your effective communication skills—both written and verbal—help you clearly convey complex data insights to technical and non-technical audiences, including senior management.
