Our client, a renowned hospitality establishment in the Preston Area, is seeking an experienced and talented Chef to join their team. This temporary position offers flexible working hours, allowing you to pick and choose the hours and days you work. Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and cook high-quality meals, ensuring exceptional taste and presentation
2. Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop innovative menus
3. Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment, adhering to food safety regulations
4. Monitor and manage inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels for daily operations
5. Adhere to health and safety guidelines and maintain a safe workplace
6. Uphold a professional and positive demeanour, fostering a harmonious working environment
Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a Chef, preferably in a fast-paced kitchen environment
2. Strong culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques
3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet high standards
4. Excellent time management skills and ability to work under pressure
5. Flexibility to adapt to changing demands and prioritise tasks effectively
6. Enhanced DBS (Desirable, but not essential)
