Band 3 Receptionist/Administrator - Zinnia Centre

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part-time experienced Receptionist/Administrator to work within the Zinnia Community Mental Health Team.
Our CMHTs provide assessment, specialist support, treatment, and care planning for service users with functional mental health problems such as depression and psychotic mental illness. The service is multidisciplinary and operates within an integrated hub alongside other services.
As receptionist/administrator, you will be the first point of contact for patients, staff, and visitors to the building, and it is essential that you present in a friendly and approachable manner.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will undertake a wide range of reception and administrative duties. These will include:
1. Monitoring, recording, and booking of appointments
2. Managing a busy telephone line
3. Receiving all incoming mail and ensuring action is taken appropriately
4. Processing clinical letters and other correspondence
You will work in conjunction with other team members, ensuring administrative support is available to all members of the Hub. This will include liaison with multi-disciplinary team members, other health professionals, GPs, social workers, service users, and other appropriate agencies.
It is essential that applicants are able to work on their own initiative and demonstrate effective organisational and administrative skills.

Qualifications
* NVQ Level II in Business Administration or equivalent or working towards
* GCSE English or equivalent
* RSA II Typing
Experience
* Experience in dealing with a range of disciplines in healthcare and sensitive situations
* Experience in a customer-focused healthcare environment
* Experience of working in a healthcare client-facing organisation
Skills
* Up-to-date working knowledge of all Microsoft packages
* Experience of working in a healthcare setting
* Working knowledge of RiO
