Electrical Controls Engineer
Salary: £55,800 - £61,300 (inclusive of shift allowance)
~ Performance related company bonus
~£5,000 welcome bonus
~ Shifts: 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off - 12 hour shifts 7 - 7

Do you excel in precision control with advanced instruments or optimising efficiency with variable speed drives?
Bring your expertise in circuit protection, control instruments, electrical tests and variable speed drives to a leading industry player. Advanced Electrical skills along with intermediate control/automation skills.
Electrical Engineering Qualification such as Served Apprenticeship and/or HNC, NVQ or equivalent. Proven experience in diagnosing and resolving Electrical and Control/Automation issues, ideally within a manufacturing environment
Experience diagnosing complex PLC faults preferably Allen Bradley - desirable
Detailed reporting and recording of maintenance work using our SAP system.
Provide technical support and coaching to assist others in resolution of equipment failures with Safety and Quality in mind.
Perform Root Cause Failure Analysis on major unplanned breakdowns and recurring problems.
Work with engineering on specific electrical and or controls projects from design to start-up, including HMI/PLC programming/fault diagnostics (predominantly AB), installation, checkout, start-up, and training.
