We have a fantastic opportunity for a senior professional to join our established, award winning Structural & Civil engineering team in central Bristol. This is a leadership role, focusing on leading by strategy, management and business development, on a regional and national scale, whilst maintaining a high-level of involvement in project delivery.
With a strong pipeline of work, we are currently involved in the delivery of a number of flagship projects throughout the UK and overseas. Voted Consultancy of the Year at the Bristol Property Awards 2023 you will be joining a highly professional, extremely motivated, dynamic multi-disciplinary team who are passionate about making a difference to the quality of people’s lives.
Delivery
As a fully experienced structural and/or civil engineering designer, you will lead a team of structural engineers, civils engineers and technicians undertaking project delivery across a wide range of sectors. You will maintain a high-level overview of projects, using your skills and experience to ensure that we are delivering efficiently, minimising any potential risks to the business, and stepping in when appropriate to resolve complex design problems.
Management
Having gained significant experience throughout your career, you will lead the management of our people, projects and financial performance of the team, ensuring that we develop our staff, successfully deliver our projects and meet business targets.
Business Development
With a strong track-record in business development, you will establish yourself as a leader in the local construction industry, attending and hosting business development activities, actively participating in local industry clubs and committees, and speaking in public about industry best practice on behalf of Hydrock.
For our established list of key clients and allies, you will be a first port of call figure, nurturing positive working relationships and possessing an in-depth knowledge of our clients’ organisational structures and business needs.
