You will be required to work within the remit of the schools behaviour policy to provide administrative support for a number of pastoral functions including in year transfers, managed moves, and support for Heads of Year.
You will need to be able to:
· To work as directed by the Assistant Headteacher and Pastoral Coordinator to ensure all school pastoral systems work efficiently
· To maintain ICT based records of interventions, rewards, achievements and sanctions.
· To provide effective and timely information regarding pupils in relation to reflection room, detention and other sanctions to required stakeholders.
· To communicate effectively with parents regarding detentions.
· To act as a first point of contact for parents and relay information in a timely manner to Form Tutors and Heads of Year as appropriate.
· To assist in the development and maintenance of monitoring of systems and processes that promote the principles of behaviour and Safeguarding Child Protection across the school.
· To comply with the policies and procedures relating to Child Protection, and all Safeguarding matters including Health and Safety, confidentiality and data protection.
· Cover for Attendance Officer in their absence.
· Provide administrative support to the member of SLT responsible for Pastoral
· Student Support regarding the running of reports (e.g. for detentions) and in their absence provide relevant reports to support pastoral/behaviour meetings/SLT.
· Support with updating detention system, contacting parents and ensuring accuracy of information.
· Provide administrative support for the mid-year admissions process under direction of Assistant Headteacher and Pastoral coordinator.
· Supporting with arrangements (including timetabling and administration) for External agencies e.g. (Think for the Future timetable and administration organisation). Door 43 administration.
