Your role:
As an Associate Director, you will lead a team of Business Partners and strategise to maximise business opportunities within the business. You will be responsible for maintaining and developing effective client relationships, ensuring that the service we provide meets strategic objectives. Your role will also involve exceeding budget and growth targets by increasing fees and identifying new opportunities. Establishing and elevating key client relationships in line with long-term objectives will be a crucial part of your responsibilities.
Key Deliverables:
* Build lasting relationships: Work with internal stakeholders to ensure professional representation in all dealings with candidates, clients, and suppliers.
* Provide expert advice: Offer specialist advice on market conditions, competitor activity, skills availability, demographics, and salary surveys.
* Manage disputes: Handle client or candidate disputes in a timely and effective manner.
Develop and evolve your account
Setting the strategic direction for the client account with senior stakeholders and developing growth opportunities will be key. You will identify and implement client development strategies in collaboration with the senior management team, International Sourcing Centre (ISC), M&A, and Projects teams. Actively promoting Hays’ services and engaging clients at every opportunity will be part of your role. You will take full responsibility for performance, productivity, and profitability of fees. You will also undertake and contribute to regular client reviews, including monthly, quarterly and annual business reviews.
Deliver an efficient and compliant process:
Ensuring contract governance and that client agreements and changes are documented effectively is crucial. You will ensure all candidates and processes comply with client requirements and Hays’ standards. Promoting continuous improvement and quality management, including risk and issue management, will be part of your responsibilities.
Optimise systems and business intelligence:
You will be responsible for developing, producing, and presenting client reporting requirements, ensuring SLA and KPI targets are met. Driving the use of recruitment technology systems to enhance operational efficiencies and ensure data integrity will be essential. Investigating and analysing data to produce accurate reports and present findings to clients will be part of your role.
Manage and develop your teams:
Leading and shaping a high-performance culture aligned with Hays values will be a key responsibility. You will ensure effective induction, training, and performance management to develop talent and succession plans. Driving performance through effective reward and recognition strategies will be part of your role. The role will involve matrix-management working closely with our delivery centre.
