Day-to-Day Life: As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our students' learning and development. Your responsibilities will include: Assisting with the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs). Providing one-on-one or small group support to students. Helping to create a safe and stimulating learning environment. Supporting students with personal care needs, where necessary. Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and other staff to ensure the best outcomes for our students. Requirements: Experience: Previous experience working with children with SEN is essential. DBS Check: An enhanced DBS check on the update service is required. Skills: Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children with special needs.
