The Firm
With a strong reputation in the trust sector, our client manages a significant portfolio of family trusts and assets. Their team of dedicated professionals delivers expert guidance to clients across the UK, and they are continuing to expand. As part of this growth, they are seeking an experienced Trusts Manager to oversee a portfolio of trusts, develop the team, and ensure the highest standards of client service.
The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and proactive individual with a strong background in trust case management. You will lead and develop a team, ensuring trust cases are managed efficiently while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee and manage a portfolio of trusts, delivering exceptional client service.
* Provide leadership and guidance to a team of trust case managers.
* Ensure efficient administration of trust cases and compliance with all relevant policies.
* Deliver technical training to develop the skills of the wider team.
* Offer specialist trust knowledge and support business projects where needed.
* Maintain a high standard of risk management and compliance.
* Work collaboratively with senior leadership to contribute to business development and operational success.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
* At least 5 years' experience managing trusts in a similar environment.
* A relevant Law degree or STEP qualification.
* Strong knowledge of UK trust taxation.
* Leadership skills with experience managing a team.
* Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and confidence working in a fast-paced, professional environment.
