The Company.
This is a global B2B business that manufactures and supplies a range of bespoke high-quality functional ingredients to the food and drink sector. With UK offices based in Oxfordshire, this is a newly created position due to organic company growth.
The Role.
Working within a talented and experienced quality and regulatory team, this is a pivotal role where the successful candidate will respond to internal and external customer queries and will support the administrator of the Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) system by extracting information to complete customer questionnaires and technical information as required.
Key Accountabilities.
* Support enquiries from existing/potential customers regarding the product portfolio from within the Group.
* Complete customer questionnaires, specifications, etc., including online portal requests, accurately within deadlines.
* Coordinate third-party test requests with the company and external laboratories.
* Liaise with global HQ when necessary to request information and/or validate information is correct.
* Communicate with existing/potential customers regarding quality assurance-related enquiries.
* Navigate the Product Life Cycle Management system (PLM) to aid day-to-day tasks.
* Liaise with HQ to ensure the PLM system is up to date and accurate.
* Support the Customer Services team with customer investigations into any enquiries or complaints.
People Profile.
* A degree in biotechnology, biochemistry, food, etc., is advantageous, but not required for this post.
* A minimum of three years’ work experience in a similar role within the food industry.
* Experience in quality assurance or technical services within the area of food, beverages, nutrition products, or ingredients.
* Strong skills in attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks.
* Ability to work on own initiative as well as within the wider team, and have good time management skills, prioritizing tasks.
* Enjoy challenges and working in a multi-cultural environment.
* Applies a professional, proactive approach to work.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
