Job Description
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales and fostering relationships with clients in the Southern UK region. Your primary duties will include:
1. Developing and implementing strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
2. Identifying and prospecting new business opportunities within the territory.
3. Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions.
4. Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of products and services.
5. Keeping abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to inform business strategies.
The Successful Applicant
The successful Business Development Manager will:
1. Have a proven track record of success in business development or sales, preferably within the engineering or industrial sector.
2. Ideally have experience selling into the food and beverage sector.
3. Possess excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
4. Have strong analytical abilities with a keen eye for identifying market opportunities.
