About the Role
Join Ingram Micro as a Cisco Sales Specialist and become a trusted advisor to our customers, guiding them through Cisco's extensive range of products and solutions. This telephone-based role combines sales and account management, with a focus on inbound and proactive outbound calls—no cold calling required. You'll build valuable relationships, grow accounts, and drive impactful sales, all while becoming a go-to resource for Cisco expertise.

As a Cisco Sales Specialist you will:
1. Build relationships and be a trusted advisor. Develop strong connections with customers over the phone, becoming their go-to resource for all things Cisco.
2. Serve as an expert on Cisco's products and services, offering informed solutions for inbound inquiries and driving new sales through outbound calls.
3. Grow Accounts through making proactive outbound calls to expand existing relationships and uncover new opportunities—no cold calling.
4. Drive deals by confidently addressing customer questions, securing deals during conversations, and managing the progression of transactions from initial contact to final purchase.
5. Stay Current. Keep up with Cisco products, promotions, and market trends so you can deliver informed, confident guidance to better serve customers and proactively address their needs.
6. Collaborate effectively and support the wider sales and marketing initiatives by fostering strong communication with internal teams and engaging customers regularly.
To set you up for success we are looking for the following skills and experience:
1. Demonstrated success in a sales or account management role where you developed customer relationships and met targets.
2. Exceptional Communication Skills. Confident communicating over the phone, via email, and face-to-face.
3. Motivation to Learn. A drive to continually grow and adapt within the fast-moving tech industry. Comfortable learning new technologies and motivated to stay ahead in a fast-paced environment.
4. A Proactive, Customer-Focused Approach. Ready to identify opportunities for enhancing systems, processes, and client experiences.
