Location: Bolton/Bury Office
Working Hours: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday (1-hour lunch)

My client, a well-established law firm with deep roots in the North West, is seeking a skilled Private Family Law Solicitor with a minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) to join their thriving Family Department. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious solicitor who is keen to take ownership of a caseload focused on private family law, including divorce, finance, and children’s cases. The role offers the chance to grow within the firm, with ongoing support, training, and structured development designed to help you advance your career.
The Role
Based in a welcoming office environment with a supportive team, you will manage your own caseload and work with a range of clients on family law matters. This position requires a dynamic approach, as travel to courts and various offices will occasionally be necessary, so having a car for work use is essential.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Managing your private caseload independently
* Handling a mix of Legal Aid and private family work across all family law areas
* Using the Client and Cost Management System (CCMS) with a clear understanding of legal aid criteria
