Job summary Reporting to the Head of Financial Management & Business Partnering, the post holder will have leadership experience to provide a comprehensive financial management and support service to the Division(s). They will work closely with divisional clinical and operational leadership teams and the Divisional Director to ensure they get the business and financial support required to successfully run their division. The Finance business partner will provide financial advice and support and influence operational decision making that enables better operational performance within the agreed financial resources, and where required facilitates transformational change to ensure financial sustainability. The post holder will ensure the Division(s) make effective use of the available financial resources in pursuit of agreed Divisional and Corporate goals and take lead responsibility for the Divisions annual financial planning process whilst adhering to corporate standards and timetables. To support and challenge the performance of the operational and corporate divisions through the use of financial benchmarking and performance information. To build strong working relationships and partner working with Divisional leads to develop an understanding of operational activities at all levels and the financial consequences of these activities.
