This incredibly varied role involves overseeing day to day radiology systems management in line with job description. This may include dealing with downtime, modality integrations, system configuration, liaising with suppliers and running statistical data. The applicant must be dynamic and enthusiastic, be able to react to the unforeseeable and manage a fluid workload.
• Working alongside Radiology Systems Manager to provide an efficient and well run radiology Systems service.
• Managing the day to service
• Reacting to issues and planning long and short term change.
• Being able to produce accurate statistical data for workflow planning
• Deputise for the Radiology Systems Manager in their absence.
• Planning, participation and testing of system upgrades
• Teaching and training

• Assist the radiology Systems Manager with major Systems developments across the Trust, including software upgrades, and planned replacement programme for individual components.
• Responsible for the administration and integrity checks of radiology informatics systems across the Trusts including PACS, RIS, IEP, Order Comms, ICE, SyngoVia
• Add and modify the configuration of any of the above systems for the benefit of the Trust (i.e. adding new locations, business units) in accordance with the requirements of the Trust.
• Interrogating the CRIS statistical package to provide timely and accurate statistical data.
