Collaborate with local NHS partners across the Integrated Care System to ensure the solution design is understood as it is used widely across the local health economy by other patient-facing organisations. Provide senior expert knowledge to senior management, AI team, clinical teams on AI systems approach as well as business units across the Trust on AI needs and opportunities. Ensure changes made within the AI infrastructure are fit for purpose, both technically and operationally and use experience of implementing AI projects to mitigate any transition or cutover risks to patient services. Work autonomously to achieve strategic objectives and set standards and work packages and tasks for others. Work within Trust policies and procedures, interpret and advise changes to technical and administrative policies where required. Hold budget for installation, repair, and maintenance of AI equipment. Identify and commission the hardware, software, and IT infrastructure needed for a project and/or new system relating to AI infrastructure. Undertake research in relevant industry standard methodologies, tools, and techniques to best meet the future demands of the Trust on AI systems. Understand and advise on the direction and solution design for install and access to managed software applications specifically AI infrastructure and connectivity of devices. Resolve complex issues and where necessary recommend appropriate hardware, software, or business practice changes to Trust AI infrastructure, policies, and procedures. Perform investigations and implement changes to resolve issues and/or comply with user requirements.
