The Best Connection is looking for a Logistics Co-ordinator and Warehouse Assistant for our client in Selby on a permanent basis.
The role will involve assisting in the coordination of UK transport, raising appropriate documentation, booking collections and deliveries and negotiating with suppliers. When required, assist in the warehouse with stores and stock. We anticipate this role to be 90% office based and 10% warehouse so prior distribution and logistics co-ordination experience is essential.
Experience / Personal attributes
* Transport co-ordination & warehousing experience.
* Good admin, communication and organisational skills.
* Able to work under pressure in a busy environment.
* Team player, willing to help others with a Strong work ethic
* Good numerical and IT skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook)
Salary, Hours and Benefits
* Hours of Work 08:00 – 17:30 Monday to Friday
* Remuneration: Circa £28,000 Base Salary + Pension
