Office Administrator Job Type: Temporary ongoing, Full-time office based. Possible opportunity to go permanent. Location: Woodbridge, Suffolk Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 Start date: ASAP Join a thriving business with a £2 million turnover as an Office Administrator. This role is suited for someone who is an experienced administrator and proficient user of SAGE for various administrative and financial tasks. This position is fully office-based and is suited for someone with a robust understanding of office management and senior Administration. Day-to-day of the role: Conduct significant data entry tasks using SAGE, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial documentation. Manage bank and credit card reconciliations. Handle general administrative duties in a busy office setting, acting as the office manager. Provide customer service via telephone, email, and direct counter interactions. Oversee and manage back-order lists, customer statements, and end-of-year adjustments. Maintain general IT, computing, and telephone systems, troubleshooting issues as they arise. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and manage the holiday rota. Administer import processes and manage invoicing. Act as a line manager and online account manager, setting up accounts and overseeing customer service. Prepare online invoice overviews and manage petty cash. Oversee purchasing, returns, warranties, credits, and organise shows/open days. Manage stationery supplies and stock summaries/adjustments. Handle supplier invoice queries and manage supplier payments and remittances. Prepare VAT returns and maintain schedules for vehicle MOT, tax, and service. Required Skills & Qualifications: Strong proficiency in SAGE and experience with data entry. Experience in financial processes such as bank reconciliation. Excellent organisational and multitasking skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of managing customer and supplier interactions effectively. Ability to manage a busy office environment and oversee a variety of administrative tasks. Experience in handling IT and general office equipment issues.
