Children's Support Worker - SEN School Location: Oldham Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM About the Role We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Children's Support Worker to join our team in a Special Educational Needs (SEN) school. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with additional needs. Key Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 and small group support for children with a range of special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties. Assist students with their learning, social development, and emotional regulation. Work closely with teachers and therapists to implement personalised support plans. Support students with daily routines, classroom activities, and social interactions. Help manage challenging behaviours using positive reinforcement techniques. Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times. Requirements: Experience working with children, particularly those with SEN A patient, caring, and resilient approach to working with children. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
