Special Needs Resource Base (SNRB) Classroom Assistant Job Overview: We are seeking a compassionate, patient, and dedicated Special Needs Resource Base Classroom Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers, other support staff, and parents to provide individualized support to students with a range of special educational needs. Overview: Title: (SNRB) Classroom Assistant Pay: £83.50 per day minimum Location: Canton, Cardiff Hours: Full time/Part time, - Monday to Friday 8:30 am - 3:15 pm Key Responsibilities: Assist in the planning and delivery of individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs. Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, helping them with classwork, homework, and other educational activities. Support students in developing social skills and managing behavior in a positive and constructive manner. Work collaboratively with teachers to adapt and differentiate lesson plans and classroom activities to meet the needs of students. Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents as needed. Assist with the preparation and organization of classroom materials and resources. Promote an inclusive and respectful classroom environment where all students feel valued and supported. Supervise and ensure the safety of students during classroom activities, breaks, and excursions. Participate in training and professional development opportunities to stay informed about best practices in special education.
