Mental Health Youth Worker Location: Mansfield Essential: Clean UK Driving Licence Start date: As soon as possible Contract: Full time, temporary to permanent or straight permanent We are currently supporting an SEMH school who are in need of Mental Health Youth Workers to support students aged 7-19 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties. You will need a DBS on the update service for this role (we can also provide one for you). Responsibilities: - Using CPOMs to report incidents - Supporting students with future aspirations and job opportunities - Supporting students with ADHD, Autism, learning disabilities or who experience anxiety and/or depression - Possible travel involved with the role to surrounding sites - Working with students on an EHCP - Monitor and record a students progress and behaviour - Manage very challenging behaviours - Work closely with Curriculum Leaders and Site Lead Teachers If you have experience in a school setting or with SEND and SEMH students please apply.
