Overview
We’re seeking a proactive and highly organized PA/Office Manager to support our Managing Director and oversee the day-to-day operations of our growing business. The role combines financial management, office administration, and HR responsibilities, requiring expertise in Xero or QuickBooks. You’ll be instrumental in scheduling work, managing communications, and ensuring the smooth running of the office. As the first point of contact for many clients and team members, you’ll need excellent communication skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities. This is a dynamic position offering variety, responsibility, and the chance to contribute to a specialist company passionate about heritage restoration.
Responsibilities
* Oversee daily office operations and ensure efficient workflow.
* Maintain office supplies inventory and order supplies as necessary.
* Implement and maintain office policies and procedures to enhance productivity.
* Handle human resources tasks including recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.
* Maintain accurate records using QuickBooks for financial management.
* Ensure effective phone etiquette is practised by all staff when communicating with clients and stakeholders.
* Assist in clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and document preparation.
* Foster a positive team environment through effective team management and communication.
* Assist with marketing and business development
Skills
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact professionally with staff and clients.
* Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software is advantageous.
* Experience in human resources management is preferred but not essential.
* Demonstrated ability to supervise and manage a team effectively.
* Strong phone etiquette to ensure professional interactions with clients.
* Ability to perform clerical duties accurately while maintaining attention to detail.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making capabilities.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £13.95-£14.30 per hour
