What is the role about?
Outreach and Delivery Coaches are critical to the successful delivery of Reed Wellbeing's evidence-based health and wellbeing lifestyle interventions. The Outreach & Delivery Coach will be responsible for engagement and delivery of diabetes prevention programmes to agreed quality standards in order to support participants in achieving their SMART goals.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
1. Engagement: Establish and maintain strong relationships within the contract and act as an ambassador for the programme.
2. Compliance: Capture contract-specific data on our systems to assure quality and comply with Commissioner reporting requirements, and assess the suitability of venues for effective programme delivery.
3. Delivery: Effectively deliver Reed Wellbeing services in accordance with the curriculum and quality standards, supporting and coaching participants to achieve sustained behavioural improvements.
4. Self-development & Continuous Improvement: Proactively contribute ideas for service improvement and participate in training and continuous professional development activities.

* Experience of coaching or facilitating diverse participant groups.
* Experience of/interest in working with groups to achieve sustained behavioural or lifestyle improvements.
* Experience of working to targets and driving performance improvement.
* Ability to establish effective rapport with key stakeholders and participants.
* An understanding of health-related behaviour change.
* Active listening skills while maintaining a non-judgemental perspective.
* Ability to communicate sensitively and accurately regarding health information.
* Ability to coach individuals and groups to identify solutions and develop knowledge and skills for behavioural change.
* Demonstrable time management and personal organisation skills.
* Willingness to undertake evening and weekend work as required.
* Willingness and flexibility to travel to deliver programmes across designated regions.
Desirable Qualifications:
* REPs Level 3 Exercise Referral qualification or equivalent.
* Level 3 qualification in health improvement or promotion or public health or equivalent.
* Level 3 qualification in nutrition.
* Level 3 Training qualification (e.g., PTTLs/Award in Education & Training).
* NCSCT Smoking Cessation Practitioner training.
