Senior Sales Manager - Printing/ Ink (all genders)
On behalf of our client, an international manufacturer of printing inks, we are seeking a Senior Sales Manager UK (all genders).
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify new opportunities and contact potential customers to increase sales
* Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring exceptional service and long-term collaboration
* Negotiate terms and close deals effectively with a view to achieving the best possible margins
* Offer technical solutions and advice tailored to customer needs, with support from the laboratory when required
* Ensuring customer satisfaction by addressing customer inquiries, complaints and concerns in a timely and effective manner
* Work closely with the Sales Director, Sales Team and Laboratory Team to ensure alignment on sales strategies and client requirements
* Keep a close watch on market developments, competitive trends or innovations
* Analyse sales data to improve performance on a monthly basis
* Provide regular sales pipeline reports and updates
* Representation of the company at internal and external events as appropriate
Qualifications:
* Proven track record in sales or business development within the area of printing inks or printing consumables
* Knowhow in narrow web flexo printing (UV, water-based)
* Ideally experience in leading a sales team
* Strong commercial mindset with a passion for driving sales growth and achieving targets
* Able to work independently, manage time efficiently, and adapt to changing client needs
* Strong communication skills, both internally and externally, with a collaborative approach to solving client challenges
* A proactive attitude toward generating new business opportunities and maintaining customer satisfaction
* Ability to use Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM systems
* Willingness to travel regularly to meet with clients
* Customer focus – with the ability to understand customer needs and provide solutions that meet requirements
* UK Driving license
