What you will do:
1. As one of our Asset Finance Business Development Directors you will source asset finance opportunities direct from customers, bank relationship managers or indirectly via our broker relationships.
2. Devise and implement account management plans.
3. Manage your deal pipeline ensuring we maintain agreed service levels, reports and feedback.
4. Write credit applications for larger (>£500k) deals, including financial/asset analysis with your recommendation.
5. Manage all internal and external stakeholders, provide reporting and feedback, motivate and remove barriers.
6. Sell our proposition to the market.
7. Grow long term relationships with customers and brokers by providing excellent customer service.
8. Increase Metro’s share of our customers and brokers asset finance opportunities.
9. Maximise profitability by originating business which fit within Metro’s credit and pricing appetite.

What you will need:
1. Understanding of the features and benefits of asset finance products.
2. Experience working with and supporting brokers.
3. Experience in writing credit applications including analysis of who we are lending to, debt serviceability, asset strip risk/quality.
4. Ability to read and interpret financial accounts and management information.
5. Familiarity with asset finance documentation.
6. Ability to explain the time value of money (relate this to early termination, broker commission, pricing etc.).
7. General knowledge of hard assets (transportation, construction, manufacturing, waste recycling etc.).
8. To understand the risks associated with your job and what that means for you, Metro Bank and all our stakeholders.
