A groundworks and frames contractor in the UK is looking to expand their team and is seeking a switched-on, highly ambitious Estimator. You will manage and plan resources, innovate, and foster a collaborative, professional, and positive working environment along with delivering an appropriate estimating role.
As the Estimator in this role, your duties will be (but not limited to) the following:
* Ensuring that tenders are complete and submitted on time
* Identifying client requirements and developing the best offer to meet them
* Working with the designer on D&B contracts
* Liaising with the commercial and procurement departments
* Quantity take-offs
* Evaluating the programme requirements, developing methods of construction and suitable techniques to enable efficient cost-effective resource levels to win bids

The ideal candidate will have:
* A degree or HND/HNC in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying
* Ability to show previous experience gained in working on infrastructure projects
* Great verbal and written communication skills
* A full UK driving license
