We are looking for an experienced Manager for the Business Development team, to advise our Web3.0 customers on how to best adopt and leverage the value of AWS technology. This is an ideal role for someone with deep experience in the Web3.0 industry, expert knowledge of financial services applications and infrastructure, and a solid understanding of the transformational value cloud technologies can bring.
In this role, you will manage a team of Business Development professionals and play a key role in executing our go-to-market strategy. You will engage with customers to determine business needs, identify opportunities and issues, and develop related technical solutions and value propositions leveraging the power of AWS cloud technology.
Key job responsibilities
1. Lead and cultivate high-performing teams in a dynamic cryptocurrency industry vertical.
2. Establish, monitor, and optimize team KPIs through data-driven approaches.
3. Design and implement talent development programs to enhance team capabilities.
4. Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, pioneer innovative business models and revenue streams.
5. Develop and execute strategic business/territory plans aligned with organizational objectives, drive and achieve company-assigned business targets and revenue goals.
6. Streamline operational processes to maximize efficiency and productivity.
7. Implement best practices to improve team performance and business outcomes.
8. Ensure strict adherence to both internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
9. Collaborate with compliance teams to maintain regulatory standards.
10. Implement risk management frameworks to protect business interests.
11. Stay current with regulatory changes affecting the cryptocurrency industry.
The right individual will leverage industry expertise, architecture experience, and customer-facing skills to be a "trusted advisor" to customers. They will be able to facilitate relationships with senior executive stakeholders, as well as easily interact with and give guidance to technology experts, software developers, IT professionals, and system architects.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* 10+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives experience.
* 3+ years of team management experience.
* Experience identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing large-scale technology deals.
* Strong verbal and written communications skills, fluent in Mandarin and good command in English.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Experience positioning and selling technology to new customers and new market segments.
* BA/BS degree required, Masters or MBA a plus.
